Church newsThis year at the annual missions quilting week at Shields River Lutheran Church in Wilsall, 69 quilts were complete, with 22 ladies from four counties helping. A big thank-you goes to all who had a part in this project.
The finished quilts are given to the Montana Rescue Mission in Billings, ASPEN in Livingston, fire victims, local needs, Disaster Response and World Hunger Appeal of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, and more.
Cemetery FundThe Wilsall Cemetery Fund recently received a memorial for David Quigley from Jack Keough.

• Jan. 27: The high school basketball teams start playing at 2:30 p.m. with the boys junior varsity agains White Sulphur Springs in Clyde Park.
• Jan. 28: The elementary and junior high girls basketball teams start playing at 9 a.m. in White Sulphur Springs. The high school basketball teams start playing at 3 p.m. with the boys junior varsity in Gardiner.
• Jan. 31: The elementary and junior high girls basketball teams start playing at 4:30 p.m. against Big Timber in Clyde Park.
