Differing versions of the events on Aug. 11 that ended in serious injuries to a 17-year-old Park High School football player were presented to the Livingston School District Board Thursday night before the board voted unanimously to terminate the contract of head football coach Bruce Knerr.
Knerr didn’t use professional judgment at a football leadership retreat, which led to a student injury, District Superintendent Don Viegut told the board and about 75 people attending the meeting at the PHS RecPlex.
