Rebels win big on road, 46-0

The Shields Valley Rebel football team traveled to Pryor this Saturday to take on the Plenty Coups Warriors, and came away with a 46-0 win.

It was a big game for the Warriors, who played their first home football game in over a decade.

The Warriors inexperience was quickly shown in the game when the Rebels got a stop and then freshman quarterback Dylan Flatt found fellow freshman Milan Moscone for a touchdown.

Flatt continued to impress throughout the game, finishing with 251 total yards for six touchdowns. Two of those touchdowns were to Moscone, who added 73 yards in the game.

The Rebels also dominated on defense, where they had four interceptions, including two from freshman Lyom Bullard.

The Rebels used their defensive momentum to stay dominant on offense, where they ended with 46 points.

Most of the Rebels’ offense came from passing, where five different players had receiving touchdowns — Milan Moscone, Emmett Gilbert, Aidan Jenkins, Jack Marshall and Hunter Sanderson.

“It went really well,” Rebels head coach Mitch Ward said. “All 12 of our players got to play, and they all played well. It was a good team win.”
