The Yellowstone Hot Springs resort in Corwin Springs is now open.

The facility, a for-profit corporation owned by the nonprofit Royal Teton Ranch, officially opened its doors last week.

The Royal Teton Ranch, which is across the Yellowstone River from the facility, is the international headquarters of the Church Universal and Triumphant.

For now, the facility will be open Fridays noon to 8 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will likely be an expanded schedule in the summer.

The 3,750-square-foot pool includes a hot plunge, designed to be 104 degrees Fahrenheit; a cold plunge, set to be between 60 and 70 degrees but warm to the touch; and a main pool that fluctuates between 96 and 102, usually staying at the higher end of the spectrum. There is also an adjacent Kneipp Walk with two water paths, one hot and one cool, designed to help with wellness.

Yellowstone Hot Springs is the first new hot spring to open in Montana in 25 years. The facility is smoke-free and alcohol-free, with no music playing in the background, designed to provide a peaceful, close-to-nature experience.

Entrance will be $18 for adults, and $15 for seniors and $12 for children. For locals, the price is $10 per person, and multiple-visit passes are available.
