• The Livingston Food Resource Center will host a free family dinner night at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, May 18, June 1, June 15 and June 29 at the center. Meals will be prepared by local chefs and LFRC staff. Sign up by calling LFRC 222-5335 or visiting the center located at 202 S. Second St.  


Parents of Park High seniors may purchase space for a personal message and photo in the graduation issue of The Geyser student newspaper until May 20. The cost is $15 for 50 words and a baby or senior photo. Ads are in black and white. Email message and photo to geyserstaff@gmail.com or drop them off in the PHS office with payment to publish.


• There will be a Girls Golf Par-Tee for incoming sixth- through seventh-grade students and their parents from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 22 at the Livingston Golf Course. There will be putting games, golf carts rides and chips into containers, and girls will learn about the game of golf. Parents may register their child for a drawing for a free summer at the golf course. All equipment is provided. For reservations, call the Pro Shop at 222-1100 by May 21.


Paradise Permaculutre Institute will host a free presentation of the film “Laundry to Landscape: A Simple, Efficient, Economical, Easy-to-use Greywater System” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 at the Livingston-Park County Library. A 30-minute discussion will follow the film. Call Mona at 222-9999 with questions. 


Empire Theater’s summer matinee tickets are on sale until Wednesday, June 8 at Winans, East Side, Washington and St. Mary’s elementary schools. Movies will be shown Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., with the first film shown on Tuesday, June 14. Movies include “Minions,” “Night at the Museum 3,” “Hotel Transylvania 2” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” Tickets are $10 for a sheet of 10 tickets. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the schools’ parent teacher organizations.
