• At the Livingston-Park County Library, the summer reading program will take place 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 13  for the third- to fifth-graders. Also on Wednesday,  the Knit-wits will meet in the Teen Room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Then, on July 14, the Teen Summer Reading program, for those in sixth through 12th grade, will take place 6 p.m.-8 p.m., They will play “A Minute to Win It.” On Saturday, July 16, the Deadrock Writers will hold their monthly meeting from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

• Mad Hatters should make their meeting reservations for the May meeting  by calling Anita at 222-1789. Make reservations by Thursday, July 14.

•  Big Sky Retired Educators Association and AARP will have their summer picnic at 5 p.m. Monday, July 18  at Bozeman’s Optimist Park, west of Macy’s Department Store. Meat and beverages will be provided. Please bring a salad or dessert, serving utensil, and lawn chairs. Live music will also be provided. • The Shields Valley Senior Center will host the Area IV Agency on Aging staff from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 21. Agency staff will be available to provide information on community services to seniors. Area IV staff can help individuals and their families/caregivers understand how to use community resources and services, offer benefits counseling on Medicare, and advocate for long-term care residents.
