Trails Rx Run

Despite chilly, windswept conditions, runners were all smiles at the starting line of the first annual Trails Rx Run at Northside Park Sunday morning.

The event featured a 15K, 5K and kid’s race. About 115 runners participated in the event, which was more than twice the anticipated turnout, said Rebekah Stoner, Marketing and Communications Manger for Livingston HealthCare.

Megan Eubank finished first in the 5K race and ultra-marathoner Dennis Ball finished first in the 15K. Trails Rx is a joint program between the City of Livingston and Livingston HealthCare designed to promote wellness by encouraging community members to run, walk and bike on the city’s parks and trails.
