Livingston is bursting with aspiring gymnasts. So much so that instructor Corrie Burns has had to start waiting lists for her classes.

“There’s definitely a need for gymnastics,” said Burns. “I’ve taught over 200 kids.”

Classes have taken place this year in the Civic Center throughout the winter and into spring.

Burns teaches a range of ages, but gymnastics has proved particularly popular for preschool-aged children.

Exercises included everything from walking backwards on the balance beams to somersaults.
