Thanks for helping with dog that got hit

Editor:

Wednesday evening, a little dog was hit by a car on Park Street. A nice young man had moved him out of the street and was comforting the dog. A lady and her daughter stopped too. It didn’t look like the dog was going to make it, but we decided to try to get him to a vet. The lady got a box from her shop and a policeman came and took him (with lights and siren) to Colmey’s. The dog lived.

I don’t know who the dog belongs to as it had no collar. Thank you to the policeman, the young man, the lady and her daughter for helping the dog. We live in a great town!
