Shields Valley students on the fourth quarter regular honor roll are:

Rodeo news

• Local Kids Barrel Race winners at the Wilsall Rodeo Sunday were Everly Sarrazin, first; Sierra Wilcox, second; and Teah Vennes, third. Other young people participating were Kassidie and Kale Rock, and Sophia Brown.

• Wilsall Rodeo Parade theme was “Looking Back in Time” and the winners are: A Tribute to Norma Lovely with her granddaughters modeling her dresses from the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s, first; Girls Scouts as a group of dinosaurs, second; Wilsall Wranglers 4-H Club with cowboys and indians, third; Build a Better Wilsall Foundation with an outhouse, fourth; and Shields Valley Senior Citizens with Father Time, fifth.

Ag Fair

The Park County Ag Fair is being sponsored by the 4-H Council. There will be a Farmers Market Saturday, July 27. Outdoor booth spaces are 10’ x 10’ and rent for $30. School Board meeting

• The regular meeting of the Shields Valley School Board will be at 7:30 p.m. tonight, June, 19, at the Wilsall school.

Senior potluck

The Shields Valley Senior Citizens potluck dinner starts at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at the senior center in Wilsall. There will be bingo games following the potluck.

Farmers Market

The Shields Valley Farmers Market is Monday, June 24, at Veterans Park in Wilsall. It is scheduled for Mondays through Aug. 12 with two settings at Veterans Park in Wilsall, June 24 and July 29 and other Mondays at Holliday Park in Clyde Park. It is from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be music by Ian Thomas, with American roots inspired original compositions. Vendors include North Bridger Bison, Fudge Haven, Home Maiden, Mountain Sage and Leslie’s produce from Root to Rise Gardens.

Kennon from K3 Catering will be serving 2CarnaAsada or shredded chicken tacos with homemade rice and refried beans. Plus, Kennon’s well known chirobars for desert.

Church news

• Five-Day Club, sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship, is coming to Clyde Park and Wilsall Monday through Friday, June 24-28. It will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holliday Park in Clyde Park and from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Veterans Park in Wilsall. It is for children ages 5 to 12 and includes Bible lessons, songs, memory verses, games, prizes and more.

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Christian ministry serving in every region of the world. All teachers and helpers have been trained and screened to ensure protection of the children. Parents are welcome to attend.

There will be an picnic and rally at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, at the Wilsall Community Church for both clubs. The children will be a part of the program highlighting the things they have learned.

Craft group

A craft group meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Shields Valley Senior Center in Wilsall.
