The Shields Valley girls went 1-1 over the weekend, beating the White Sulphur Springs Hornets on Friday, 37-31, and losing to the Harlowton Engineers Saturday, 41-30.

Jen Fairchild and Lauren Flatt led the Rebels in scoring with 12 points apiece.

The Rebels kept it tight through the second half, cutting the lead to six at the end of the third quarter. The Engineers were able to hold on and ice the game in the fourth quarter, though, walking away with an 11-point win.
Flatt led the Rebels in scoring with 10 points on4-of-11 shooting, followed by Fairchild with seven on 3-of-10 shooting.
Shields Valley improved to 4-5 and play Gardiner on Thursday.
