Parade parking, bus available

Northern Energy invites the folks from Shields Valley and the rest of the county to park in their parking lot and ride a bus to the Livingston Roundup Parade on July 2.

There will be free hot dogs and water starting at noon at 4 Merrill Lane.

No market July 2

There is no Shields Valley Farmer’s Market July 2. They’ll be back July 9.

 

Cemetery update

Anne Gwaltney recently gave a donation to the Wilsall Cemetery Fund.

The Wilsall Cemetery Board and the community of Wilsall thank Jerry Kiger for all the work he does to keep the cemetery looking good.

 

Cards

• The Clyde Park Bridge Club met June 20 at Clyde Park Tavern and Cafe, with Bob Eyman as host. Prize winners were Shirley Depuy, high; and Loraine Eyman, bingo.

• The Wilsall Women’s Pinochle Club met Monday afternoon at the Shields Valley Senior Center. Prize winners were Linda Wilson, high; Georgia Hogenson, low; and Mary Sarver, traveling.

• Winners of the June 26 Senior Citizens card party were Marge Briggs, first; Georgia Hogenson, second; Linda Wilson, low; and Marie Smith, traveling.
