Robert John ‘Bob’ Jenkins

Robert John “Bob” Jenkins, 63, of Livingston, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at Livingston Health Care after a long illness. 

Bob was born on Oct. 1, 1952 in Roundup, Montana to Robert and Natalie (Glotch) Jenkins. His career was in the construction industry. He enjoyed woodworking and was a fine finish carpenter. He was interested in a wide variety of topics with a particular interest in antique jewelry, silver and other collectables. Bob was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and husband and a generous friend. 

He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Jenkins) Schnabel (Derek) and Elizabeth Monical Jenkins and a grandson, Owen; his mother, Natalie Jenkins; sisters, Pamela Swanes (John) and Robin Struyvenberg (Peter); and four nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Jenkins. The family is grateful to the staff and caregivers at Livingston HealthCare and Father Leo of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for their care and kindnesses.

Mass celebrating Bob’s life will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with a reception following Mass, then interment at Park View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
