Shields Valley boys basketball’s losing streak extends to seven after Friday’s 44-27 loss to the West Yellowstone Wolverines.
The game was back and forth through the first half, with West Yellowstone leading 19-18 going into halftime. It was a much different story in the second half, though, as the Rebels were outscored 25-9 in the second half, including a mere two points in the fourth quarter.
West Yellowstone’s Nathan Moore scored seven of his game-high 19 points in the fourth quarter to close out the game. Rebel sophomore Sage McMinn led the team in scoring with 11 points.
The Rebels fall to 1-11 on the year and will look to end their losing streak Thursday when they travel to Lone Peak.
