Putting pen to paper helps answer your own questions

The Enterprise published an article in Thursday’s paper where Jeff Masters, the founder of Weather Underground claimed that the reason the models failed to predict the flooding that occurred earlier this month is that they no longer apply in a warming world.

I have a couple of questions about that.

First, if the models are so unreliable that they do not accurately predict what is going to happen over the next few days or weeks, why would we want to use the same models to justify wreaking such economic havoc on this beautiful American free enterprise system that it runs a risk of falling into socialism or communism?

My next question — why would anybody name a weather forecasting outfit after a violent terrorist group who intended to crater this beautiful American free enterprise system and replace it with socialism or communism?

Sometimes when you put pen to paper, you answer your own questions. If anybody else has been wondering, there’s your answer.
