Pura Vida 406 moves to Albemarle building dowtown

Pura Vida 406 has moved to a new location in the Albemarle building at the corner of Main and Park streets.

The salon and spa was on the corner of B and Callender streets. It now makes home on the first floor of the recently remodeled Albemarle, which houses condominiums and modern, efficiency apartments.

“It’s a great location,” said Pura Vida owner Lisa Patrick. “Main and Park — can’t get any better than that.”

Pura Vida is a full-service salon and spa with an emphasis on holistic beauty and wellness, featuring all-natural and organic products. Services include hair, nails, body, face, massage, hair removal and tinting, hair and lash extensions, and bridal packages.

Pura Vida owner Lisa Patrick said her business looks to do more than concentrate on the outside of a person.

“Basically what we’re trying to create as time goes on is a beauty and wellness center,” she said.

Patrick said she wants the every-day person from Livingston to feel comfortable walking through the doors and having high-quality service. And she added, “It’s certainly not just for women only.”

The business features Naturopathica products.

While Pura Vida 406 is open now, the grand opening is set for June 23.

The business plans on displaying local art and will take part in the Art Walk which launches that same day in June.

Pura Vida, located at 131 N. Main St., is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call (406) 599-3029 or visit Pura Vida’s website at www.puravida406.com.
