Park County Health Department posts vaccine schedule

The Park County Health Department announced its COVID-19 vaccine schedule through mid-December in a recent news release:

• Nov. 14, noon to 5 p.m., Park County Fairgrounds, shot type Pfizer, for children 5-11.

• Nov. 16, 3-5 p.m., Shields Valley High School in Clyde Park, shot type Moderna and flu, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster*.

• Nov. 17, 2-4 p.m., Yellowstone Forever in Gardiner, shot type Moderna, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster.*

• Nov. 23, 2-6 p.m., Park County Fairgrounds, shot type Moderna, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster.*

• Dec. 1, 2-4 p.m. Yellowstone Forever in Gardiner, shot type Moderna, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster.*

• Dec. 5, noon to 4 p.m., Park County Fairgrounds, shot type Pfizer, children 5-11.

• Dec. 7, 2-6 p.m., Park County Fairgrounds, shot type Moderna, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster.*

• Dec. 15, 2-4 p.m., Yellowstone Forever in Gardiner, shot type Moderna, for anyone 18+ or eligible for a booster.*

* The Health Department said that to be eligible for a booster shot you must have a COVID-19 vaccine before six months ago and are:

• Age 18+ who live in a long-term care setting, have underlying medical conditions, and work or live in high-risk settings.

• Age 65 or older.

Booster shots are also recommended and available for individuals who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine; booster shots are also recommended for those who are 18 and older and who were vaccinated two or more months ago.
