Money for Teslow grain elevator could be better spent

This whole issue pertaining to the Teslow grain silo is gotten out of hand. What drives a person to spend hard-earned money on a building that was abandoned 50 years ago? Are we out of seniors living on fixed income? How about indigent mothers — are they no longer around? I just saw a great article on Mr. Eaton and Counterpoint. So I know they are still doing a stellar job.

I say good riddance, and hopefully the trend will continue and we get rid of a few more dilapidated buildings on the RR property. Here’s an even better idea: Take the money from the folks with so much cash and use it to improve the neighborhood. And that doesn’t mean the city should go out and buy more trucks or hire more employees.
