The Board of Trustees for Park County Rural Fire District #1’s regular monthly meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, May 9 in the station’s training room located at 304 E. Tester’s Bozeman Regional Director Jennifer Madgic will visit Livingston from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 in the Community Room of the City-County Complex, located at 414 E. Callender St. All constituents are welcome to visit with Madgic to share concerns, information and ideas and possibly open casework. No appointments are necessary. The Danforth Gallery’s Park County Friends of the Arts will host a series of free lectures about the creative process at 6 p.m. Tuesdays though May 17 at the Danforth Building. Speakers include Montana Poet Laureate Michael Earl Craig, Ceramic Artist Andrea Moon, Plein Air Painter Aaron Schuerr and Brewmaster Jon Berens. The 2016 Park County Weed Fair will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at the Park County Fairgrounds. Topics include biology, ecology, and integrated management of cheatgrass, as well as the benefits of using surfactants. The American Legion Club’s monthly meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at the legion. Dinner will be provided for members. For more information, call the legion at 222-1052.
