Man injured in one-vehicle rollover

A one-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 90 sent a man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The eastbound driver struck a concrete divider between the east and westbound lanes near mile marker 351 east of Livingston, Park County Rural Fire Chief Dann Babcox said Wednesday evening.

Mile marker 351 is just west of the Springdale exit, which is located at mile marker 352. Emergency responders were called out at 4:31 p.m., according to Dispatch call logs.

Babcox said the driver clipped a concrete divider with his pickup truck and then rolled, coming to rest on the interstate and blocking both eastbound lanes.

Traffic was blocked for about 10 minutes, Babcox said, and he was uncertain what caused the accident. The weather was temporarily clear and sunny at the time of the accident.

Babcox said Rural Fire sent five units to the scene, and Livingston Fire and Rescue also responded and transported the driver to Livingston Health-Care.
