God personally made each one of us, and has a plan for each life

Editor:

When I read the guest editorial in last Thursday’s Enterprise, written by Darrell Ehrlick of the Daily Montanan, I felt a need to respond, because Jesus was and is indeed prochoice, but today’s meaning of pro-choice is not the same definition we find in Scriptures.

While Darrell laid claim to being a theology student, his theology certainly hasn’t come from a Biblical/Christian background.

God’s word says that he personally made each one of us, and has a plan for each life.

Life is a gift created by God, and is not to be taken away by abortion. God is pro-choice, but he tells us clearly the only acceptable choice to make.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you — that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”

I’m not arguing with Darrell’s editorial, but merely setting the record straight.

If we’re going to paint a picture of Jesus, and God’s heart toward the unborn child, it’s important that we use true colors.

Attention dog owners: There is no dog poop fairy

Editor:

Do some dog owners think there is a dog poop fairy that comes along and picks up their little bags of dog poop? Or maybe they think there is a city position created for just that purpose. Maybe those little bags are magic composters of dog poop. I don’t think so. The dog owners that leave the poo where it lands are annoying as well but I figure those folks are lost causes.

You bag leavers though, you’ve done most of the hard work already. You remembered the bags in the 1st place. You bent over to pick it up! You even tied a cute little knot. Why can’t you get it to a trash can? As a dog owner and walker for 25 years with no trouble picking up of my own, I am mystified.
