Here’s a selection of calls the Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to during the previous week. Livingston Police Department Chief Dale Johnson was unavailable to provide call log information about calls his department responded to this week. 
 
March 3
• 10:42 p.m. — A Park County Sheriff’s Office deputy reported a vehicle at Mallard’s Rest. The driver of the vehicle was advised that the area was closed. 
 
March 4
• 5:38 a.m. — The county’s K-9 unit engaged in narcotics-sniffing training at the Park County Rural Fire station at Pine Creek. 
• 8:08 p.m. — A very intoxicated man was reported lying on the patio of an Emigrant restaurant and bar. A deputy responded and arrested the man on a charge of disorderly conduct.  
• 8:30 p.m. — A caller reported observing white smoke near Jardine.  
 
March 5
• 12:01 a.m. — A deputy observed a man in the 700 block of East Park Street who was wanted for an active Justice Court warrant. The man was taken into custody. 
 
March 7
• 7:47 p.m. — a caller reported a tire or a large piece of tire in the driving lane of Interstate 90 eastbound near the White Sulphur Springs exit. A deputy responded and observed a large piece of tire on the side of the road. 
 
March 8
• 8:21 a.m. — A bison with an apparently broken leg was reported on the grounds of the Gardiner School. Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks was not able to respond, but a deputy responded to the scene and reported the animal was grazing and appeared fine. FWP was contacted again to report the deputy’s observation. 
• 10:02 a.m. — A deputy was dispatched to the Pine Creek area to perform a weapons search on a home where an individual charged with partner or family member assault would be living while released on conditions. The search was conducted, some weapons were secured, and the weapons were processed into the sheriff’s office for safekeeping.
 
March 9
• 7:19 a.m. — An agent with a repossessing firm called to report a legal repo of a vehicle would be occurring off East River Road and just wanted the department to know.
