Here is a selection of calls responded to by the Livingston Police Department recently. 
Sept. 14
• 1:34 a.m. — An officer encountered a couple on South Main Street,  one of whom had a medical marijuana card, and told them marijuana cannot be used in public.
• 8:40 a.m. — A caller on North Second reported bicycle tires had been slashed overnight. Officers are investigating.  
• 4:27 p.m. — A caller on North Fifth Street reported a bike stolen overnight. It was later found behind Albertsons. 
• 4:50 p.m. — A caller on Ridgeview Trail reported receiving several calls from overseas — from Russia, Bolivia and Turkey. The caller did not answer any of the foreign calls, assuming they were scams, and wanted the information on file with the police department. 
Sept. 15
• 12:23 p.m. — A caller on West Callender Street reported a man dressed in camoflage and a black mask wandering around outside. He said he was waiting for his mother to pick him up. Officers were unable to locate anyone who matched the description and assumed his mother had picked him up. 
Sept. 16
• 12:38 p.m. — An employee of Town & Country Foods reported two people trying to steal beer and said they were still in the store. Officers issued theft citations. 
• 9:26 p.m. — A caller on North Second Street reported an unknown woman at their front door. Officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided. 
• 10:19 p.m. — A caller reported two men in a fight outside the 49er Bar on East Park Street. Officers arrived and separated them and told them not to re-enter the bar. Neither man wished to pursue charges against the other. 
Sept. 17
• 4:25 p.m. — A caller on South Main Street reported vandalism to a vehicle including damage to the driver’s side door. The matter is under investigation. 
Sept. 18
• 8:56 a.m. — A caller at Town Pump on East Park Street reported surveillance video of a recent theft and wanted to share the video with an officer. 
• 12:17 p.m. — Spirits liquor store on North B Street reported a man in an older red Subaru had just stolen a case of alcohol. The video was shared with the police department, and an investigation ensued.
• 2:16 p.m. — A caller on South H Street reported her adult son has been drinking and was being verbally abusive and wants him removed from the property. He was already gone when officers arrived.
• 10:28 p.m. —  An unrelated caller on South H Street reported her teenaged daughter, on juvenile probation, was supposed to be home by 10 p.m. and had failed to return on time.
Sept. 19
• 9:41 a.m. — A woman came in to the police station to report a stolen four-wheeler. She just moved back to town and learned someone else has the four-wheeler, and her name is on the title along with her ex-partner, who is currently in jail. The matter is under investigation. 
• 3:51 p.m. — A female high school student reported a boy followed her from school to a downtown location on West Park Street and said she was concerned about him. Officers were unable to locate him and suggested she contact the department’s School Resource Officer the next day. 
• 5:06  p.m. — A woman left the Albertsons parking lot with her child. A caller, the sister of the woman’s ex-husband, called to say she was concerned about the child’s safety. Officers made contact with the woman and child. The woman said she would be dropping the child off at the child’s father’s residence later, and everything was fine. 
• 6:14 p.m. — A caller in the vicinity of South Main and East Lewis Streets reported the theft of license plates from a work truck. The matter is under investigation.
