Local 911 boss named to governor’s council

A longtime employee of the local 911 Dispatch Center has been chosen to serve on a statewide committee.

Gov. Steve Bullock announced recently, among other appointments, that Peggy Glass — a Public Safety Communications officer and supervisor for the Livingston Police Department — has been selected to serve on the state’s 911 Advisory Council.

Glass’s qualification for serving on the council is “Public Safety Answering Point Manager serving a population of less than 30,000,” according to a news release from the governor’s office.
