Lady Rangers fall to Laurel in state tournament opener

The Park High Lady Rangers on Thursday were defeated by Laurel 10-6 during their first game in the Class A Montana State Softball Tournament in Polson.

Laurel kicked off scoring and jumped to an early lead with four runs in the first and another six runs in the third.

Danielle Babcox hit a laser to left field for a homerun to lead off the sixth inning. The Lady Rangers fought to close a seven-run deficit by tacking on three more runs, including a two-run double by Skylar Higgs. Read Friday's edition of The Livingston Enterprise for the full story.
