It’s cops vs. firefighters in 3rd annual ‘Guns & Hoses’

Friday, April 5, 2019

The third annual “Guns & Hoses” fundraiser featuring Livingston police battling Livingston firefighters in a benefit basketball game will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at Park High School’s main gym.

The event raises funds for the Livingston Recreation Department’s activities program. Entry to the game is free.

The doors open at 4:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted. There will be a raffle with a substantial amount of great items, and the event will have family oriented fun throughout the game and at halftime, Fire Chief Ken MacInnes said.

Last week, Livingston Recreation Department Manager Maggie Tarr told The Enterprise, “Guns and Hoses is not only an entertaining evening for families. One hundred percent of the profits raised during the raffles and activities go directly back to the Livingston Civic Center and Recreation Department.”

The event will kick off “The Week of the Young Child,” hosted by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
