Grant Allen Berg was born on Mothers Day, May 14, 2006 to Mike and Kristi Berg. He was happy and quick to smile, even when he didn’t feel well. He had a sneaky sense of humor and liked to mess with people. Even though Grant was shy, he was never bashful about singing or dancing to his favorite songs. He was the pickiest eater ever. Chicken strips, tortellini, meatballs, McDonald’s cheeseburgers and Taco Bell tacos were his favorites. He was good at video games and loved playing Mario Brothers with his big brother, Gavin. Grant somehow taught his parents to appreciate Spongebob. LEGO’s consumed Grant and our house. Everywhere he went, a case stuffed full of LEGO figures was close by.

Grant was the toughest member of our family. Despite the physical and health challenges he faced, Grant was always strong and determined. He taught us to put our head down and get gritty. He was there for us as much as we were there for him. Grant is our inspiration. We love you.

Grant passed on Jan. 8, 2020. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Kristi Berg; brother, Gavin; grandparents Max and Sue Berg, of Livingston; grandmother, Tina Bevan; and grandfathers, Ted Brough and Ian Bevan.
