AARP’s Smart Driver Program for mature drivers over 50 will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 9 at First Interstate Bank. The classroom course is designed for drivers to help them adjust to the changes life brings. Course cost is $15 for AARP member and $20 for nonmembers. To register, call FIB at 222-2950. 

 

Tester’s Bozeman Regional Director Jennifer Madgic will visit Livingston from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 in the Community Room of the City-County Complex, located at 414 E. Callender St. All constituents are welcome to visit with Madgic to share concerns, information and ideas and possibly open casework. Appointments are not necessary. • American Rivers and the Grater Yellowstone Coalition will host a Wild Rivers Film Tour at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 12 at the Shane Lalani Center. The tour is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Montana’s four Wild and Scenic Rivers and will show three shot films. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at www.greateryellowstone.org/events.

 

• The Livingston Depot Museum is looking for volunteers to help with its summer visitors’ season. The museum will open Friday, May 13 and has several half-day shifts available — a weekly  3.5 hours morning or afternoon shifts. Volunteers will help with front desk ticket-taking, answering general visitors’ questions and work in the gift shop. For more information, call the Depot at 222-2300.

The Park Branch of the American Association of University Women’s Spring Fling Social will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 at Faye’s Cafe, located in the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts, 415 E. Lewis. The price, including gratuity, is $25. AAUW’s Meetings will resume in September. RSVP by Monday, May 16 to AAUW President Desiree Pihl at 223-4381.
