Livingston’s furriest residents and their owners enjoyed a snowy Thursday morning playing and chasing one another at Moja Campbell Dog Park. And more snow is expected for Park County and the region, according to the National Weather Service.

The Service reported that dangerous cross winds are expected along the western foothills from Livingston to Nye as well as from Big Timber to Harlowton.

Winds are expected to pick up late Friday night and through early Sunday, according to the Service.

The Service has a “very high confidence” that wind gusts above 50 mph are possible, with some gusts possible in the 70 mph range.

As Park County residents well know, the Weather Service warned that cross winds can be hazardous for high-profile vehicles traveling on Interstate 90 between Livingston and Big Timber.
