Farmers Market set for Monday in Clyde Park

The Shields Valley Farmer’s Market will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Holliday Park in Clyde Park.

There will be an All-American Market Special free

event for kids. They may bring bikes, wagons and scooters. The market will provide decorating supplies so they will be all ready for Independence Day kids’ parades.

Dinner will be picnic fare by market featured sponsor, Clyde Park Tavern & Cafe, providing All-American burgers, hot dogs and potato salad.

Special music for the evening is Ian Thomas, original compositions on guitar, harmonica and kazoo, drawn from a variety of American roots.

Upcoming events

• The Shields Valley Senior Citizens potluck dinner starts at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the senior center in Wilsall. Donna Hemmingsen and Jessie Sumner of Livingston HealthCare will be there to talk about Medicare.

• A craft group meets at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at the Shields Valley Senior Center in Wilsall.

Rodeo results

Local Kids Barrel Race winners at the Wilsall Rodeo Sunday were Sierra Wilcox, first; Everly Sarrazin, second; and Teah Vennes, third. Other young people participating were Madison and McKinley DeSilva, Kassidie and Kale Rock, Abigail Robinson, Nikki Swandal and Sophia Brown.

Wilsall Rodeo Parade winners are: Girls Scouts with water balloons, first; Hogenson Construction with the Crazies, second; Wilsall Wranglers 4-H Club with squirt guns, third; Build a Better Wilsall Foundation, fourth; and Shields Valley Senior Citizens, fifth.

Winners of the June 19 Senior Citizens card party were Mary Sarver, first; Marie Smith, second; Betty Burdette, low; Marge Briggs, traveling.
