TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

Richard Guay, 38, of Pray, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Monday to driving a motor vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked, for which he was fined $285 and sentenced to two days jail. He also pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Monday to unlawful possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle on a highway and criminal contempt, for which he requested a jury trial and bond was set at $945. He was cited for all of the charges Wednesday, April 19.

In a separate citation issued Friday, Guay pleaded guilty in Justice Court Monday to driving a motor vehicle while his privilege to do so was suspended or revoked. He was fined $285 and sentenced to two days in jail.

 

A 41-year-old Livingston man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Monday to reckless driving. He requested a jury trial and was released on his own recognizance. He was cited Saturday.

 

Robert Linthurst, 48, of Bozeman, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to speeding on the interstate, for which he was fined $70; and possession of dangerous drugs/marijuana, for which he was fined $300. He was cited April 13.

 

Michael Lysaght, 50, of Livingston, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to not having vehicle insurance, for which he was fined $285, and a seat belt violation, for which he was fined $20. He was cited April 14.

 

ASSAULT

A 38-year-old Pray man made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday for partner or family member assault, third offense, a felony; and tampering with witnesses and informants, a felony. Bond was set at  $75,000. He was cited Friday.                 

 

CHANGE OF ADDRESS/REGISTRATION VIOLATION

A  34-year-old Livingston man made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday for failure to notify of a change of address or failure to keep registration current for a sexual or violent offender, a felony. Bond was set at $10,000. He was cited April 18.                 

 

VIOLATING CONDITIONS

A 26-year-old Livingston woman made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday on an arrest warrant from District Court for violating conditions of her release. Bond was set at $60,000. She was cited April 19.                 

 

A 27-year-old Livingston man made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday: on a District Court Warrant for violating conditions of his release, for which his was cited April 19 and bond was set at $70,000; on a Sweet Grass County warrant for failure to pay fines and comply with court orders, for which he was cited Dec. 13, 2016 and bond was set at $710; for felony theft, for which he was cited April 4 and bond was set at $10,000.

 

TRESPASSING

A 19-year-old Bozeman man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to criminal trespass to property. He requested a jury trial. He was cited Saturday.

 

A 20-year-old Kalispell man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to criminal trespass to property. He requested a jury trial. He was cited Monday.
