ASSAULT

 A 46-year-old Livingston man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Monday to partner or family member assault/purposefully or knowingly causes bodily injury to a partner or family member, first offense. He was released on his own recognizance. He was cited Oct. 23.

 

 CONTEMPT

 Charles Doan, 53, of Livingston and Townsend, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to two contempt charges for failure to pay and failure to enroll in the ACT program. He was sentenced to five days in jail for each contempt count, suspended if he enrolls in the ACT program and begins making monthly payments. 

 

 TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

 Richard Gray, 17, of Livingston, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to a seat belt violation and reckless driving. He was fined $235 for the reckless driving citation with $50 deferred for six months and ordered to complete the Alive at 25 young driver’s education course. He was fined $20 for the seat belt violation. He was cited Oct. 14.

 

TRESPASSING

 A 47-year-old McLeod man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to trespass to property and criminal mischief. He was released on his own recognizance and requested a jury trial. He was cited Oct. 2.

 

POSSESSION

 John Hardesty, 42, of Livingston, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Tuesday to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to five days in jail, deferred for six months, and fined $285.
