DRIVING UNDER 

THE INFLUENCE

A 56-year-old Bozeman man made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday for a felony driving under the influence charge, as well as misdemeanor charges of driving while his driver’s license was suspended and an open container violation. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet. He was cited Dec. 2.

 

FISH AND GAME 

VIOLATIONS

Marshall Swearingen, 32, of Bozeman, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Dec. 1 to hunting without a license. He was fined $135. He was cited Nov. 25

 

Wyatt Adler, 26, of Valier, pleaded guilty in Justice Court Dec. 1 to hunting during a closed season. He was fined $135. He was cited Nov. 26.

 

BAD CHECKS

A 34-year-old Livingston woman pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Thursday to issuing bad checks. She was released on her own recognizance and requested a jury trial. She was cited Nov. 4.

 

POSSESSION   

A 20-year-old Livingston man made an initial appearance in Justice Court Monday on a felony charge of possession of dangerous drugs; as well as misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and criminal contempt. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was ordered to obtain a drug patch. He was cited Dec. 2.

 

TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

A 22-year-old Livingston man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Thursday to speeding, driving without insurance and a seat belt violation. He was released on his own recognizance and requested a jury trial. He was cited Nov. 22.

 

A 30-year-old Bridger man pleaded not guilty in Justice Court Thursday to driving while his license is suspended. He was released on his own recognizance and requested a jury trial. He was cited Nov. 20.

 

FAILURE TO PAY

Brandan Childers, 20, of Livingston, made an appearance on two warrants in Justice Court Monday for failure to pay and failure to appear for an omnibus hearing. He was fined $200, with $100 suspended with conditions. His warrant for failure to pay was issued Oct. 26 and his warrant for failure to appear was issued Oct. 31.

 

VIOLATING CONDITIONS

A 31-year-old Livingston woman made an appearance on two District Court warrants in Justice Court Wednesday. The warrants are: a Montana Sixth Judicial District Court warrant for violating the conditions of a three-year suspended sentence; and a Montana 18th District Court warrant for violating the conditions of her probation. Her total bond was set at $100,000.
