County records COVID-19 death
A Park County resident died from COVID-19 over the weekend, the Park County Health Department announced Sunday, the ninth death in the county attributed to the virus.
Park County Health Officer Dr. Laurel Desnick said Sunday a man in his 80s died Saturday from COVID-19-related illness.
In Montana, there have been 1,328 deaths attributed to COVID-19, with 92 people currently hospitalized because of the virus, according to the state of Montana’s COVID-19 case map.
As of Friday there were no COVID-19 patients at Livingston HealthCare, according to the state’s hospital occupancy report.
Park County has reported 1,086 total COVID-19 cases, according to the map, 34 of which are active.
Overall, Montana has reported 97,539 cases, 2,735 of which are active.
