Contractor informs public of bridge construction work

Pavkov Contracting is notifying the public that Tom Miner Creek Bridge is experiencing temporary delays due to construction the company is doing now through June 1.

The project is located approximately 40 miles south of Livingston on Old Yellowstone Trail South just off of U. S. Highway 89 South.

A temporary traffic diversion road is being installed at the Tom Miner Creek Bridge with an automated traffic signal controlling traffic on the diversion, a Pavkov news release said.

In addition, the Carbella Truss Bridge, located on Tom Miner Creek Road, will be temporarily closed beginning May 21 with an expected end date of June 22 for work on the bridge deck and truss repairs.

During the Carbella Bridge closure, a detour will be provided via Old Yellowstone Trail South, beginning at its northern intersection with Highway 89, the release said.

Travelers can expect construction activates in both areas Mondays through Fridays with occasional Saturday work.
