The Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce has welcomed Leslie Feigel as its new executive director.

Feigel began working at the chamber two years ago as assistant to former Executive Director LouAnne Nelson, who stepped down earlier this year.

Before starting with the chamber, Feigel worked for 23 years in marketing and communications positions for businesses in Montana and California.

In a recent press release, chamber board members said they look forward to continuing to work with Feigel.

“I’m very excited for the Chamber and Leslie’s new position,” Chamber Board President Loren Zahn stated. “Leslie works very hard, has a positive attitude and really cares about Livingston. It’s going to be great seeing everything she accomplishes, and we’re very lucky to have her.”

Feigel said she is eager to work with upcoming events this summer, such as the Livingston Hoot, the International Fly Fishing Fair set for Aug. 2-6, and the new Park County Days.

Park County Days is designed to celebrate the county’s parks as well as its arts, outdoor activities and music, including a “battle of the bands” competition.

Feigel said she wanted to put on Park County Days around the time of the National Park Service Centennial Celebration. She feels Livingston and Park County needs to celebrate everything they have to offer.

“People stop by on the way to Yellowstone and then we never see them again,” Feigel said.

Park County Days will be held Aug. 14 to 21 and will be free to the public.

The Livingston Area Chamber of Commerce is located on 303 E. Park St.
