Local receives national recognition


ERA Landmark Real Estate announces that Julie Kennedy received national recognition for attaining the Leaders’ Circle award by ERA Franchise Systems. The designation is based on sales production for 2017 and recognizes sales professionals who reach outstanding achievement levels in total closed sales units or total sales volume. KOA wins major awards

The Livingston/Paradise Valley KOA Holiday Campground, owned and operated by Alan Cawthon, has been awarded the 2018 KOA President’s Award and KOA Founder’s Award by Kampgrounds of America. The award was presented Nov. 17 at KOA’s annual International Convention in Phoenix.

The KOA Founder’s and KOA President’s Awards are presented annually to campgrounds that receive the highest scores in customer service from their campers, and also receive top scores in KOA’s annual Quality Review.



Weight loss helps charities

DeeDee Morford, of Motiv Fit Solutions, a physical fitness center in Livingston, announced the grand prize winners in the business’ GRIT & Gratitude Community Weight Loss Event. The winners chose a local charity or organization to donate their winnings to.

The Percentage of Weight Loss winner was Anna Amunrud with 6.51% (15.80 pounds), who chose Shields Valley FFA Chapter to receive a donation.

The  Total Inches Lost winner was also Anna Amunrud with 11.25 inches lost. Amunrud’s second charity was Stafford Animal Shelter.

The Percentage of Fat Loss winner was Nicole Madden with 4.27%, who chose Park High Christmas Angel Program.
