Burton Allen Viers, 58, peacefully passed away with his wife by his side on May 16, 2020 at their home in Livingston.

Burt had many roles in his lifetime, excelling in most. However, his was a humble greatness, hallmarked by his strong principles and his dedication and commitment to his family. He absolutely loved the simple joys in life — having coffee with his parents every morning, preparing mouth-watering dinners for his loved ones, great music, sunshine on his face, a margarita, his Kansas City Chiefs and a beautiful day in his yard. His legacy will live on with the people he loved and was loved by.

He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Chandler Viers, Isabella Barbao, Brodie Barbao and Gianna Barbao; his nephew, Clint Viers of Livingston and his two children, Hunter and Ever; his niece, Celeste (Tim) Fudge of Missouri and their daughter, Sonora; his uncles Dave (Lorie) Viers of California and Don (Sharon) Viers of Arizona; his aunt, Montana (Marlene) Decker of California and several cousins; as well as his friend and business partner, Danny Fleming; and of course, his four-legged friend, Lady; and many friends and loved ones who will miss him every day.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Archie and Viva Viers and Leon Hagewood, and his beloved aunt, Delores (Viers) Riley.
