• Montana Matriarch’s third annual Spread the Warmth Winter Clothing Drive is kicking off  Friday, Nov. 3 and runs through Friday, Dec. 1 at locations throughout Park County. Donations of winter clothing for infants, children, youth and adults are being accepted. Distribution of the donations will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec.  9 at the Livingston Civic Center.  For a full list of  clothing items and participating businesses online at or on Facebook at

• Bozeman Folklore Society welcomes all dancers to its next Contra Dance Friday, No.v 3 at the Bozeman Senior Center 807 N Tracy Ave, Bozeman. If you’re new to the dance form, come early at 7:30 for a 30 min. workshop, if you’re not new to the Contra, come show what you know! The music is always live, the dances always called. Barley and Sage is the band and Derek Gallagher and Kristen Emmett are the callers. Admission is $8 for BFS members, $10 non-members, 5$ Students. for more info visit or call 581-3444.

• On Tuesday, Nov. 7 Livingston Public Works will be doing their annual pick up of bagged leaves. It will only be collecting bags sitting on the boulevards, so make sure to have them out by 7 a.m. Also a reminder, it is a violation of Livingston city code to sweep leaves from your property out into the street, so make sure you are either bagging leaves or putting them in your green bin.

• Volunteers are needed at the Livingston Food Resource Center. Help is needed with stocking shelves, distributing food in the pantry, carrying food boxes, packaging and/or delivery of senior meals, kitchen help, and facilitating the healthy weekend program. Shifts vary and even one hour per month is appreciated. Call Kelsey at 222-5335 to ask how you can volunteer.
