• An internship for a Park County high school student will be available this summer at the Livingston-Park County Public Library. Summer interns will be expected to work 12 hours per week for eight weeks and will receive a stipend of $775.00. Applicants for the internship must be Park County residents who are between 16 and 19 years-old. Home-schooled students as well as traditionally enrolled high school students are encouraged to apply. Each applicant must submit a completed packet of information to be considered. The packet must include a completed application form, a record of high school grades, and a signed letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, counselor or other qualified adult. Application forms are available at the library and on the library’s website. The application deadline is Wednesday, May 31.

• American Rivers and the Greater Yellowstone Coalition will host the Wild Rivers Film Tour in Bozeman on May 31 and Livingston on June 1. Proceeds from the Wild Rivers Film Tour will benefit Montanans for Healthy Rivers. The events will be Wednesday, May 31 at the Eagles Ballroom in Bozeman and Thursday, June 1 at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the films begin 7 p.m.

• The Livingston Center for Arts and Culture is offering a summer camp for children ages 5 to 8, and advanced classes for ages 9 to 12. Three younger level sessions are June 19-23, July 10-14 and Aug. 14-18. Advanced camps are held June 26-30, July 17-21, and July 31 to Aug. 4. • The Livingston Depot Museum is seeking volunteers to welcome visitors this museum season. Historical or railroad knowledge is not required. Volunteers help out at the front desk greeting visitors and answering general questions, as well as in the gift shop.  Schedules can be flexible but usually involve just one 3.5-hour morning or afternoon shift a week.  Openings are currently available for both weekdays and weekends. Information is available on the Depot’s website at, and anyone interested in signing up is invited to reach the Depot at 222-2300.
