The Park County Commission is receiving applications for the Cemetery Board. The board serves as an advisory board and provides recommendations regarding public cemeteries to the Park County Commission. There is one position available for a term of three years. Applications can be picked up at the commission office or on the county website at www.parkcounty.org under departments/county-boards-committees. The Park County Health Department asks residents to sign up with NIXLE, the community notification system, to receive updated information on COVID-19 and vaccine availability. To receive NIXLE notifications, text your ZIP code to 888777 or sign up online at https://www.nixle.com. After registering, a confirmation text will be sent to your mobile device.

 

Meals On Wheels has changed delivery days to maintain the health and safety of those receiving meals, the delivery drivers and the MOW team. MOW now delivers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Mondays and Wednesdays, one hot meal and one frozen meal will be delivered; on Fridays, one hot meal will be delivered. If you are interested in frozen meals for the weekend or need more information, call Meals On Wheels at 333-2490.

 

The Livingston Warming Center, located at 119 S. Second St., is open 7 p.m.-7 a.m., every day. The Warming Center is a low-barrier shelter that provides those experiencing homelessness with a safe, warm place to sleep during the coldest months of the year. To access the shelter, use the rear alley entry across the alley from the L Esprit back entry. Look for the Warming Center sign.
