• The city of Livingston will begin garbage collection for Green Acres on Monday, April 6. The Solid Waste Department will be delivering garbage cans on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31. Every household will receive one 96-gallon garbage can. If residents need more than one, call the Public Works Department at 222-5667. The rate per can is $19.92 per month.

 

• The Shields Valley Hardware Store will be closed until further notice. If patrons are in an emergency need of items, call (406) 686-4787, 223-4645, or 223-4787.

 

• The Loaves and Fishes has canceled its annual spring Soup & Song Fundraiser.

 

• The Friends of the Library has canceled the upcoming Perc Orchestra Concert that was previously scheduled for Sunday, April 5.

 

• T.O.P.S. No. 134, which normally meets on Tuesday’s at the Livingston Christian Center, has postponed it’s meeting until the week of April 12. 

 

• T.O.P.S. No. 481, which normally meets on Tuesday’s at the Grabow Building, has postponed it’s meeting until the week of April 12.

 

• Feed the Cat — Feed the Dog has been helping to care for hungry cats and dogs since 2010. Throughout the winter months (November-April) those in need may request pet food at Livingston’s HRDC (8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 111 S. Second St., 333-2537), the Livingston Food Resource Center (9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, 202 S. Second St., 222-5335) or the Gardiner Food Pantry (1-6 p.m., Tuesday, 108 Third St., (307) 344-9006). Donations can also be made at each location. Contributions come from various local business and individuals.

 

The Friends of the Library has canceled the Spring Book Sale that was previously scheduled for Wednesday, May 6. The next book sale will be held in the fall.
