The American Legion will be closed for a few weeks starting Monday, March 16 for needed repairs. 


The Park County Republicans have postponed their annual Lincoln/Reagan/Trump Dinner with local and state candidates that was to be held March 28 at the Livingston Elks Lodge. For more information, call Jeff at 223-9739. 


• Red Cross is holding a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 3 at Yellowstone Forever. The Red Cross is very aware of the issues with COVID-19 and is taking extra precautions. • The 84th Park County Pioneers dinner and dance that was scheduled for April 4 at the Park County Fairgrounds has been postponed. A new date will be posted as soon as possible. For more information, contact Barb Dodge at 222-2239. 


• Vitalant, the nation’s second largest blood collector, is holding a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 and again from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 10 at Sleeping Giant Middle School. Vitalant strongly recommends that healthy donors schedule an appointment and those who are sick to not donate blood. To make an appointment, visit or call (877) 258-4825. 


• Chapter BW of P.E.O. is accepting applications for their $2,500 college scholarship and their $1,500 Trade School 2-year degree scholarship. These opportunities are open to any female high school senior that is attending any Park County school. Students can visit the Park High School website, go to the “Guidance” tab, then click on “Scholarships,” to find all the forms and information necessary to apply. The deadline for applications has been extended to April 15. All applications must be mailed to Stacy Jovick at 410 S. 8th St., Livingston, Montana 59047.
