Community Closet’s next grant deadline is March 31. Apply online and learn more at www.communitycloset.org/funding. Grants are funded by thrift sale proceeds, and the Community Closet is grateful for generous community support.

 

The Livingston-Park County Public Library early literacy programs, Books & Babies meets at 10:30-10:50 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Preschool Storytime meets at 10:30-11 a.m. on Fridays. The library limits the size of each program to four families or no more than 10 people. Caregivers are required to wear masks. Pre-registration for each program is required. Participants can sign up for multiple weeks, but can attend only one program each week, due to space concerns. If the library has more participants than slots, it will host additional times to accommodate families. To sign up, call the library at 222-0862.

 

• The Members of Chapter AP P.E.O. are offering a $1,500 scholarship to a Park County senior Girl who wants to continue her education at an accredited college, university, or vocational school.  This is a need-based scholarship and is open to all senior girls in public schools or homeschool. Applications are available from guidance counselors at all Park County High Schools, or by contacting Beverly Sandberg at 222-6506, bsandberg@bresnan.net. Deadline for applications is April 15.

 

The Livingston Rotary Club has four scholarships available. The Livingston Rotary Club Scholarship and the Ernie Sandberg Service Above Self Memorial Scholarship are two $1,000 scholarships awarded to Park High School seniors. The Livingston Rotary Club Shields Valley Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to one Shields Valley High School senior. The Livingston Rotary Club Gardiner High School Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to one Gardiner High School senior. Applications can be picked up at the guidance counselor offices at the Park, Shields Valley and Gardiner high schools. The deadline for applications is April 30.
