The Trustees for Park County Rural Fire District #1 will hold a special budget meeting to discuss and decide on capital funds at noon on Tuesday, June 30 at 304 E. Park St. A full meeting agenda will be posted on Friday, June 26 at that same location.


ASPEN (Abuse Support & Prevention Education Network) is hosting an online auction on its Facebook page, Click on “ASPEN Summer 2020 Virtual Auction” album, then click on individual photos and post a bid in the comment section for each item. Bidding is now open and will end at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. The person with the final highest bid will be the recipient of the item and 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit ASPEN. Community Closet’s next grant deadline is Tuesday, June 30. Grants are funded by thrift sale proceeds and Community Closet has invested over $500,000 in Park County charitable organizations since 2005. Learn more and apply online at


Park High School Driver Education classes are on hold until July 5. If classes do resume, there will be fewer seats available, and only students from Park High School are eligible for admission. Class would begin on July 6 from 9 a.m. to noon, with driving time 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Organizers are working on safety and hygiene protocols for classroom and driving time to safely conduct the program. Although the Livingston-Park County Public Library is open with certain restrictions, it continues offering take-out and delivery services for books, audio books, DVDs and print jobs, from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library asks that any donation materials be held onto until further notice. Delivery and take-out requests can be made by emailing or calling 222-0862.
