• Holbrook United Methodist Church will be holding a garage sale from 9 a.m. to noon and a bag sale from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25. 


• Course in Miracles is resuming its meetings at 10 a.m. on Sundays at Vince Grant Hall. The group meets every Sunday. For more information, call Clay at 220-8213.


• The Livingston Golf Course Couples Golf League begins at 6 p.m. on Mondays. Participants are asked to arrive by 5:30 p.m. for check-in. For more information, call 222-1100.


• The Gardiner Chamber of Commerce monthly board meeting has been canceled for the month of July due to the structural fire. The monthly board meetings will resume in August. 


• The Shane Center will be holding “Family Musical Theatre Trivia Night” at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 via Zoom. Participants will be able to create a team of up to six people, and compete to win a private movie night on the big screen in the Dulcie Theatre. There will be three rounds of 10 questions each on musical theatre knowledge — such as name that character or name that musical. For more information, visit


• Dinner and a Movie Wilsall style, a fundraiser for Build a Better Wilsall Foundation, that was scheduled for Friday, Aug. 7 has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns. 


• The Big Bear Stampede trail race for 2020 has been canceled due to coronavirus concerns.


• ASPEN (Abuse Support and Prevention Education Network) remains open and will continue to serve victims of domestic and sexual violence. The safe house is in continual need of donations — such as hair conditioner, Loofahs, plastic containers/ziplock bags, larger kitchen items, toilet paper, paper towels, and disinfectant wipes/spray. Those making donations of goods to the shelter are asked to drop them off at the business office, 411 E. Callender St., or leave them on the porch.
