• Paradise Permaculture Institute is hosting several workshops now through August: Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk on Saturday, July 25 (9 a.m., $30); Herbal Antivirals & Tincture Making on Friday, July 31 (6 p.m., $35); and an Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk on Saturday, Aug. 22 (9 a.m., $30). Funds are being raised for “Pizza for Police,” a pizza night for the police and sheriff’s departments, and first responders and their families.
