• The Livingston Parks and Trails Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the conference in the Civic Center. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call Mike at 222-5361.

• The trustees for Park County Rural Fire District #1 will hold a special meeting at noon on Monday, Jan. 30. The meeting will be held at 304 E. Park St. in the training room. An agenda is available at same location.

• The Livingston-Park County Public Library will hosting an Afterhours Teen Game Night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. Participants should meet at the Third Street entrance of the library to gain admittance, since the rest of the library will be closed. The Afterhours Teen Game Night is a free program for students in grades six through 12. For more information, call Lisa at the Library, 222-0862.

• The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts and Sleeping Giant Middle School presents “Alice in Wonderland,” with performances at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. Tickets can be purchased for $5 at the Shane Center at 5 p.m. Thursday Jan. 26, or the Shane Center box office one hour before each show. Cookies, coffee and water will be available for $1 at the Shane Center concessions.

• The Bozeman Folklore Society will host a Family Valentine’s Dance followed by a Contra Dance on Saturday, Feb. 18. The Family Dance starts at 5:30 p.m. and the Contra Dance at 7:30 p.m. Live music for both dances will be provided by Chordwood Cricket with caller Amy Letson. The evening also includes a potluck dinner 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. A half-hour dance workshop begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the Family Dance is $15 per family. Admission to the Contra Dance is $10; $8 for Bozeman Folklore Society members; and $5 for MSU students and those 5 to 18 years old. All events will be held at the Bozeman Senior Center, 807 N.
