The Gardiner Convention Visitors Bureau meeting will take place at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Gardiner Visitor Center. The public is welcome to attend.

 

The Livingston Roundup Rodeo Association will hold auditions to sing the national anthem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 at the American Legion. The association is looking for three local, talented individuals or groups to sing the anthem at the rodeo for each night this year. For more information call Carla at 220-2484.

 

AARP Tax Aide is offering free tax preparation and electronic filing for seniors and other with low to moderate income on Thursdays, starting Feb. 6, at the Park County Senior Center, 206 S. Main St. Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, call Betsey Kiley at 222-0435.

 

Feed the Cat — Feed the Dog has been helping to care for hungry cats and dogs since 2010. Throughout the winter months (November-April) those in need may request pet food at Livingston’s HRDC (8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 111 S. Second St., 333-2537), the Livingston Food Resource Center (9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, 202 S. Second St., 222-5335) or the Gardiner Food Pantry (1-6 p.m., Tuesday, 108 Third St., 307-344-9006). Donations can also be made at each location. Contributions come from various local business and individuals.

 

Counterpoint accepts aluminum beverage cans for recycling. It will pay per pound for them, or accept them as a donation. Bring cans in anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to Counterpoint’s location at 116 E. Lewis St.
