Briefs Feb. 20

• The Park County Spelling Bee will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22  in the Shane Center Ballroom. Top spellers in grades five through eight from the area schools will compete for a chance to go to the state competition.  The public is welcome to attend.

• The Livingston School District Calendar Committee will meet at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the East Side School library, 401 View Vista Drive. Contact Jenny Stringer at 222-0861 for more information.

• There will a Scholastic Book Fair at East Side School for kindergarten through eighth-grade students this week. It will be held Tuesday to Friday for East Side students. It will be open to the public from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will also be a raffle for prizes. For more information, call 223-3758.
